To celebrate National Poetry Day on 7^th October 2021 a (virtual) Poetry by Heart competition was held for students in year 8. Performances were scored for their voice, understanding, presentation and accuracy. Mrs McDonald said ‘the performances that we received from students in year 8 were brilliant, it made for a tough judging process.’

Mrs Seed presented the awards during assembly and the top three finalists also gave moving performances of their recitals before the medals were presented.
