At Upton Sixth Form you will be part of a student group with a strong tradition of success and a commitment to spiritual, academic, extra-curricular and pastoral development.
Our benefits include:
In our last Ofsted inspection in October 2006 Upton Hall was described as an "Outstanding School" and in November the Diocese of Shrewsbury inspection team described us an "Outstanding Catholic School".
The school has been a Specialist Technology College for the past five years and in Summer 2006 we were also awarded Language College status.
In September 2006 we won the full British Council International School Award for the extent of our international activities over the previous three years and for our plans for the next three years.
EMA is a weekly payment of up to £30, paid directly to young people, who stay on in school after they reach the minimum school leaving age.
It is a Government grant based on household income, that recognises that for some young people there are financial barriers to staying on at school.
All young people aged 16 planning to continue their education in school or college can apply. For more details, go to www.aimhigher.ac.uk
