Summer Camp

During the Summer Holidays, the Upton, Greasby and Irby Extended Schools Cluster held an extremely successful Summer Camp at Upton Hall School FCJ. Over 150 young people enjoyed a wide variety of activities, and achieved new experiences in a fun and action packed week. Around 30 Sports and Dance Leaders from Upton Hall School made a positive contribution to the Camp, which included sports, dance, drama, arts and crafts, circus skills and a climbing wall.

The Summer Camp created an exciting but safe environment in which young people were given the opportunity to develop their talents and acquire new skills. On the final day, Olympic and Commonwealth Gold medallists Craig Heap and Adam Whitehead were guests of honour, and joined the young people in participating in our very own Olympics, before presenting the children with their certificates and medals in the final ceremony.
