Great excitement on results’ day for the GCSE candidates as they collected an outstanding set of results
This year’s GCSE results were better than ever.
- 100% of pupils achieved 5+ A*-G
- 98% achieved 5+ A*-C
- 66% achieved 5+ A*+A
- 59% of all the grades were A*+A
Art, Biology and Chemistry saw 100% A*+A grades and Physics and Textiles saw 86% A*+A grades.

A level results day
A Level results brought success to so many candidates who were able to secure places at the top universities.
99% A-E grades and 53% A+B grades
Celebrations
Olivia and Louise had a great deal to celebrate on A Level results day.
Olivia achieved Grade As in Biology, Chemistry, Geography, General Studies and Religious Studies. She was awarded one of the highest marks in the country for Religious Studies. In addition to these A2 grades she achieved grade A in AS Critical Thinking.
Olivia takes up her place at Oxford to study Geography.
Louise, who had a very serious road accident just before her GCSE examinations and underwent operations while studying for A Levels still came out with success achieving A + B grades in Biology, Product Design, General Studies and Psychology. She takes up her place to study Psychology at Sheffield University.
