Outstanding Achievements at A Level
Great excitement on Results’ Day for Upton A level candidates as they collected an outstanding set of results.
24 girls achieved 3 A grades or more with many achieving 4 or 5 A grades.
Many Upton students also deserve particular mention for their remarkable performance in the "Super A Level" Advanced Extension Awards. Among those enjoying outstanding success are:
- Rachel Evans: Distinction in History and Merit in English
- Rebecca Hannah:Distinction in English
- Katie Keaney: Distinction in French
- Sarah Makinson: Distinction in Spanish and Merit in French
- Jamie Morgan: Merit in English and Distinction in History
- Abigail Smitton: Distinction in English
- Elizabeth Wastnedge: Merits in Bio and Chem
- Steph Boylan: Merit in History
- Laura Fox: Merit in English
- Sarah Tijon: Merit in Psychology
We are in a group of less than 4% of schools in the country who attempt these very demanding exams so this makes their achievements all the more exceptional.

Congratulations and Celebrations!
There is no doubt that our girls have much to celebrate and we are extremely proud of their success.
However, we must also recognise the considerable input of the teaching staff. Without their encouragement and commitment these results would not have been possible.
The reward for all the girls' hardwork is that many of them have secured places at top universities across the country.
We wish them well as they enter the next phase of their lives.
We are confident they will continue to shine and be a credit both to themselves and to Upton!
