Uniform

Wear your uniform with pride. Visitors to the school and members of the public frequently remark on how smart Upton girls look in their uniform. Make sure you continue in this tradition by keeping your uniform smart and clean. Your hair should be tied back if it is shoulder length and hair bands and ribbons must be either black or green. Keep your best pink ribbon for the weekend! Make sure that your shoes are comfortable as you will do much more walking than you do in Primary School. There are many flights of stairs so do not wear high heels which could make you trip.

WINTER UNIFORM YEARS 7 to 11

AUTUMN TERM

• GreenBlazer (compulsory)
• Plain black full length coat for bad weather only
• Black scarf with badge (to be purchased from school only)

No other form of outer clothing is allowed

• Green Regulation knee length skirt, either A-line or with a front pleat.
• Regulation Green Pursebelt

Skirts with splits at the back, front or sides should not be purchased and are not allowed

• White blouse and regulation school tie
• Green regulation V-necked sweater
• Black, well polished shoes . Heels must measure no more than 1 – 1 ½ inches. Secure fastenings are essential and shoes should not have heavy soles
• Black tights or white ankle socks
• Plain black bag for books and other materials
